How to Get Involved / Donate

How can I support Revelstoke Community Acupuncture?

There are several ways to help keep this low-barrier, sliding-scale clinic running. Any amount of support — financial or otherwise — goes directly into making care accessible for more people.

Can I donate?

Yes. Donations help cover our core operating costs, including:
• room rental
• booking software
• needles and supplies
• laundry and linens
• accessibility resources
• expanding the number of chairs/sessions we can offer

We are currently self-funded and volunteer-run, so community support truly makes a difference.

E-transfers can be sent to:

Can local businesses or organizations get involved?

Absolutely. Businesses can:
• sponsor a chair (covers sessions for multiple community members)
• contribute supplies or laundry support
• help fund an additional weekly session
• partner for community wellness events

We’re always open to creative collaborations.

Can I volunteer?

At the moment, clinical work must be done by Registered Acupuncturists, but volunteers can help with:
• room setup/teardown
• laundry rotation
• community outreach
• accessible-care initiatives
• translation or communication support for patients

If you're interested, send us a message — we’ll keep a list and reach out as needs grow.

What are the clinic's current needs?

Right now, our most helpful forms of support are:
• monthly contributions to cover fixed expenses
• donations toward additional chairs
• help with laundry or linens
• community connections and sharing the word
• grant leads or partnerships for accessible healthcare

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

Not at this time. We are not a registered charity — just two R.Acs offering community care on a sliding scale.

All support goes directly toward sustaining and expanding the clinic.
