Our Story
Our goal is not to generate profit, but simply to cover operating costs and provide a modest stipend for the time we dedicate. Revelstoke Community Acupuncture was created to increase access to acupuncture for people who might not otherwise be able to receive care.
As R.Ac practitioners who work in private clinics, we see firsthand how cost and limited availability can prevent people from seeking treatment — especially for chronic pain, stress, sleep issues, and emotional support.
We wanted to build something different.
Something community-centered, low-barrier, and welcoming to everyone.
Community acupuncture makes this possible by:
• treating multiple people in the same room
• offering a sliding scale with no questions asked
• focusing on comfort, connection, and nervous system regulation
• allowing people to come as they are
We started with one evening per week and 8 chairs, and hope to expand as interest grows.
